I am an old bloke, living in Lancashire, who thought that it would be good to reduce his carbon footprint and save some money…
…frustrated by the lack of decent, practical data on the pros and cons of different ways to save energy, I thought that I would have a go at recording our energy consumption to see what worked and what didn’t. My aim was to make a decent dent in the cost of energy and our CO2 emissions, but also stay comfortable at the same time.
…it turns out that energy saving is a bit of a rabbit hole; however, I hope that the result is useful for others looking to take the same journey.
